Peak co-developer Landfall might finance your next indie game

Landfall, the independent studio behind indie hits Content Warning and Haste, has announced the formal launch of Evil Landfall, a new publishing label dedicated to financing and supporting external indie projects. The label operates as a separate business entity and is led by CEO Kirsten-Lee Naidoo, with a seven-person team based in Stockholm.

Evil Landfall was originally established around three years ago as an internal publishing operation focused on bringing Landfall’s own titles to market, including the recently released Peak. Now making its public debut, the label is positioning itself to partner with external developers and provide funding for indie games—with a particular focus on what the studio describes as “silly titles with short development cycles.”

The announcement came during Landfall Day, the studio’s recent showcase event. The move represents an expansion of Landfall’s ambitions beyond pure game development, signaling the studio’s confidence in its ability to identify and nurture promising indie projects. By establishing Evil Landfall as a distinct publishing arm, Landfall joins other developer-publishers in recognizing the market opportunity in supporting smaller, independent creators.
