Games London reveals Ensemble 2026 cohort

Games London has announced the 2026 cohort for Ensemble, its annual exhibition celebrating Black, Asian, and other underrepresented ethnic creatives in the UK games industry. Now in its eighth year, the Ensemble initiative is curated by acclaimed author and artistic director Sharna Jackson, who designed the program to “shift perceptions, amplify new voices, and inspire the next generation of diverse talent in games.”

The exhibition features eight carefully selected creatives from underrepresented backgrounds who will showcase their achievements, contributions, and personal journeys to the gaming community. The cohort represents the ongoing effort to increase visibility and representation for diverse voices within the industry.

The Ensemble exhibition will be on display in Trafalgar Square on Monday, April 13, during the London Games Festival, one of the UK’s premier gaming events. In addition to the physical exhibition, this year’s eight creatives will be featured at the New Game Plus conference, providing additional platform and networking opportunities.

The initiative is led by Games London with support from the Mayor of London, reflecting the city’s commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion within the creative industries. Ensemble’s continued growth over eight years demonstrates the sustained importance of recognizing and promoting underrepresented talent in games development and the broader gaming ecosystem.
