PSA: ‘Hello, Yoshi!’ Hatches On Western Switch eShops Today
Nintendo’s My Mario line continues its Western expansion with the launch of Hello, Yoshi!, a free interactive app that became available on the Switch eShop today. Originally released in Japan in November 2025, Hello, Yoshi! follows the same accessible format as the previously released Hello, Mario! title.
The app is specifically designed for young children and features a cartoon Yoshi character that players can interact with in various ways. Users can tap, stretch, spin, and engage Yoshi in a selection of simple mini-games, providing entertainment aimed at toddlers and young children rather than experienced gamers.
While the app offers limited depth for adult audiences, Nintendo’s strategy focuses on introducing younger players to beloved characters before their major game releases. With Yoshi and the Mysterious Book scheduled to arrive in the coming months, Hello, Yoshi! serves as an early introduction to the character for younger audiences, building familiarity and excitement ahead of the full-fledged game’s launch.
