Get An ROG Xbox Ally For Only $500 Before The Inevitable Price Increase Arrives
The Asus ROG Ally, a portable gaming PC, is now available at a significant discount. Both Amazon and Best Buy are currently offering the device for $500, down from its original $600 price point—a 17% reduction that brings it in line with Nintendo Switch 2 pricing.
The ROG Ally features impressive specifications for a handheld gaming device. It comes equipped with a 7-inch Full HD display running at 120Hz, 16GB of RAM, and an AMD Ryzen Z2 processor. The white casing is designed for comfort and durability. These components enable solid performance for playing modern PC games in a portable form factor.
A key advantage over traditional handheld consoles is access to the expansive PC gaming library. Players can purchase games through Steam and other digital storefronts, often at lower prices than console versions. This versatility offers significantly more gaming options than dedicated handheld systems, though it does require engagement with PC gaming ecosystems.
The article signals this price may be temporary, with a potential price increase anticipated in the near future. The timing creates urgency for PC gaming enthusiasts considering a portable option.
