The sequel is in active development for PlayStation 5, though Lazy Bear Games has not yet announced a specific release date for the title. According to the official description, Graveyard Keeper 2 will cast players as the Grand Inquisitor, tasking them with restoring a town while commanding an undead army to combat a zombie apocalypse threatening to engulf the realm.
The game will retain the series’ signature medieval graveyard management mechanics as its foundation, continuing the franchise’s distinctive approach to the management simulation genre. The original Graveyard Keeper gained a following for its darkly humorous and unorthodox presentation, which the sequel appears poised to expand upon.
