Gameplay of League of Legends’ New Champion Locke Leaks

League of Legends’ upcoming champion Locke has had gameplay footage leak online ahead of its official reveal. The Demacian character was confirmed as the next champion to join the game through an unintentional reveal by a Riot Games developer in an April Fools’ tweet.

Locke is scheduled to launch during League of Legends Season 2026, which runs from April 29 to August 12. Prior to the gameplay leak, the champion had only been seen in a motion comic released by Riot earlier in 2026, though the champion’s in-game appearance differs significantly from the cloaked figure depicted in that animated short.

Well-known League of Legends leaker Big Bad Bear shared a video providing the first look at Locke’s gameplay mechanics. Speculation from the community had suggested the champion would function as an AP (Ability Power) fighter, though complete details about the champion’s abilities and playstyle remain unconfirmed pending an official reveal from Riot Games.

The leak comes as the League of Legends community eagerly anticipates the new champion’s official announcement and release, with Locke set to add another entry to the game’s ever-expanding roster of playable characters.
