The First Berserker: Khazan studio Neople announces restructure of dev teams
Neople, a Nexon subsidiary, has announced a reorganisation of its development teams as The First Berserker: Khazan enters its final stage of development. The studio emphasised that the restructuring is a strategic reallocation of talent aimed at more effectively allocating resources across current and upcoming projects, and explicitly clarified that no workforce reductions or team dissolutions resulted from the decision.
A Nexon representative confirmed to PC Gamer that the reorganisation supports both live service operations for existing titles and future initiatives across Neople and affiliated Nexon studios. The resource reallocation includes focus on the Dungeon & Fighter franchise, which is being developed for global markets alongside other projects in development.
The announcement comes as The First Berserker: Khazan approaches completion of its development cycle, suggesting the studio is preparing to shift focus and resources toward post-launch support and new projects. By framing the restructuring as a talent reallocation rather than a reduction, Neople appears to be managing expectations around potential staffing changes while emphasising continuity in its development pipeline.
