Guide: These 18+ New PS5, PS4 Games Are Coming Out Next Week (13th-19th April)
The PlayStation Store has a substantial week ahead with several notable releases scheduled between April 13-19. The standout title is Pragmata, which is positioned as a major addition to the platform’s library.
Complementing this marquee release are several other games across various genres. Mouse P.I. For Hire brings rubber hose animation to the FPS genre with distinctive visual style, while Hades 2 continues the successful roguelike franchise with an anticipated sequel.
The week features a diverse lineup spanning multiple subgenres. Before I Go, arriving April 13 on PS5, offers a punishing Metroidvania experience set in a haunting, dreamlike fantasy world centered on themes of mortality and acceptance—players embody an inner child on an allegorical journey toward death acceptance. Also launching April 13 is Gunboat God, a chaotic 2D side-scrolling shoot ’em up emphasizing fast-paced action, quick shooting mechanics, and evasion.
The week demonstrates PlayStation’s continued strength in attracting indie and mid-tier releases alongside major titles, providing variety for different player preferences and playstyles.
