When is The Next Fortnite Update? Fortnite v40.20, Explained
Fortnite v40.20 is scheduled to release on Thursday, April 16, continuing Epic Games’ biweekly update cadence. The update arrives as the battle royale game progresses through Chapter 7, Season 2.

Despite these difficulties, Fortnite development continues on schedule.
As one of the most-played games globally, Fortnite’s regular update cycle maintains community engagement with fresh content and seasonal changes. The v40.20 update is expected to bring new content to the game, though specific patch details were not fully disclosed at the reporting time.
