Twistzz All But Confirms Karrigan’s FaZe Departure; Can Falcons Move Work?
FaZe Clan’s Counter-Strike in-game leader Finn ‘karrigan’ Andersen has all but confirmed his departure from the organization to join Team Falcons. The confirmation came through messages posted by FaZe teammate Russel ‘Twistzz’ Van Dulken in the player’s Discord server, where Twistzz revealed the move was ‘sudden’ and clarified that karrigan was not kicked from the team.
Rumors about the transfer first surfaced on Sunday when French esports personality and former professional Sébastien ‘KRL’ Perez announced that karrigan would move to Falcons ahead of the IEM Cologne 2026 Major championship. The transfer has since been validated by multiple credible sources within the competitive Counter-Strike community, including esports news outlet HLTV and Team Spirit’s scout Aleksei ‘OverDrive’ Birukov, lending significant weight to the reports.
Karrigan is recognized as a respected in-game leader and strategic authority in professional Counter-Strike. His departure from FaZe represents a notable shift in the competitive landscape, particularly given the timing relative to a major international tournament. The move raises questions about how both FaZe and Falcons will adapt their strategies and compositions heading into the upcoming Major.
