The in-demand Lego Pokémon Kanto Region Badge Collection can now be built using bricks you own with newly released official instructions
LEGO and Nintendo launched their first-ever Pokémon sets in February to celebrate the franchise’s 30th anniversary. The most prominent offering featured three iconic Pokémon (Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise) as large models, priced at approximately £600 with 6,838 pieces. A highly sought-after bonus item included with this premium set was the Kanto Region Badge Collection, which quickly became one of the collaboration’s most popular components.
However, the exclusivity of the badge collection proved frustrating for LEGO and Pokémon enthusiasts unwilling to purchase the expensive flagship set solely to obtain it. The item generated significant social media discussion, with many collectors expressing interest in acquiring just the badge set separately.
In response to this demand, LEGO has now released official building instructions for the Kanto Region Badge Collection, enabling fans to construct their own replica using bricks they already own or can purchase independently. The comprehensive 80-page guide specifies all 312 bricks required to complete the full set of badges. This move democratizes access to the popular item, allowing collectors to build it without committing to the full premium set purchase.
