Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 To Release in October 2026, It’s Claimed
According to a new claim from reliable Call of Duty leaker CharliIntel, Activision’s upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is set to release in October 2026. The insider revealed the information in response to a prediction by Call of Duty content creator TDawg on X (formerly Twitter), confirming that the game will launch this year on one of the Fridays in October.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is expected to be the next mainline entry in Activision’s long-running and highly successful shooter franchise. However, concrete details about the title remain scarce. The announcement comes after Infinity Ward, the studio behind the Modern Warfare sub-series, appeared to debunk earlier rumors about the game in a holiday message.
CharliIntel, known for accurate Call of Duty leaks, noted in their response that five Fridays are available in October 2026 for the potential release window. The claim represents one of the first substantial pieces of information about the game’s release timeline, though Activision has not yet officially confirmed the title or its release date. Modern Warfare 4 would continue the rebooted Modern Warfare storyline that began with the 2019 franchise reboot.
