Two Free ‘PowerWash Simulator’ DLCs Are Being Delisted Next Month
Developer FuturLab has announced that two free DLC packs for the original PowerWash Simulator will be delisted on May 19, 2026, at 3pm BST / 10am EST. The packs—based on Final Fantasy VII Remake’s Midgar location and the Tomb Raider franchise—will no longer be available to claim after this date, coinciding with the end of FuturLab’s formal publishing relationship with Square Enix in June.
Players who have already downloaded the Midgar Special Pack and Tomb Raider pack will retain full access to play them indefinitely; the delisting only prevents new downloads. Those hoping to claim either DLC have roughly one month to do so across all available platforms: Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
The Midgar pack allows players to wash themed vehicles and locations including the Scorpion Sentinel, Shinra Hauler, Cloud’s Daytona Hauler motorbike, the Airbuster boss, and Tifa’s Seventh Heaven bar. FuturLab praised Square Enix as an “incredible partnership” in its announcement, suggesting an amicable conclusion rather than a contentious split. The original PowerWash Simulator was published by Square Enix, while its sequel, PowerWash Simulator 2, is self-published by FuturLab, explaining why the newer title is unaffected by the licensing agreement’s end.
