Guide: These 18+ New PS5, PS4 Games Are Coming Out This Week (13th-19th April)
PlayStation is set to receive a substantial wave of new releases during the week of April 13-19. The standout title this week is Pragmata, which headlines the slate of new content arriving on the PS Store.
Beyond Pragmata, several other notable games are launching during this period. Mouse P.I. For Hire, a rubber hose-styled first-person shooter, offers a unique artistic approach to the FPS genre. Hades 2, the sequel to the acclaimed roguelike, is also arriving this week.
The release schedule includes Before I Go, a challenging Metroidvania set in a haunting, dreamlike fantasy world that explores themes of death acceptance through the perspective of an inner child. Also launching is Gunboat God, a chaotic 2D side-scrolling shooter that emphasizes quick reflexes and fast-paced action.
With over 18 confirmed games launching across PS5 and PS4 during this seven-day period, it represents a substantial week for PlayStation enthusiasts seeking new content. The variety in genres—from indie Metroidvanias to stylized shooters and established sequel franchises—suggests there is something for different player preferences across PlayStation’s ecosystem.
