Stone Cold Steve Austin Comes to Fortnite This Week
Stone Cold Steve Austin is coming to Fortnite starting April 16, 2026. The legendary WWE wrestler will be available as a cosmetic skin in the popular battle royale game, coinciding with WWE WrestleMania this weekend. This crossover represents another high-profile celebrity partnership for Fortnite, which has established itself as a destination for integrating recognizable figures and franchises.
The timing of Austin’s arrival is strategic, leveraging the excitement surrounding WrestleMania, WWE’s flagship annual event. Current WWE Superstar Liv Morgan, who is challenging for the WWE Women’s World Championship at this year’s WrestleMania, was rumored to be part of the collaboration as well. However, Morgan’s inclusion in Fortnite has not been officially confirmed.
The Stone Cold Steve Austin skin continues Fortnite’s pattern of securing high-value intellectual property partnerships to drive player engagement and monetization. These cosmetic crossovers have become central to Fortnite’s business model, enabling the game to reach audiences beyond traditional gaming by leveraging celebrities, athletes, and entertainment franchises.
