New Switch 2 games Splatoon Raiders and Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave age-rated in Europe

Two upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 titles have received official age ratings from PEGI, Europe’s video game classification authority, offering insight into Nintendo’s publishing plans for the remainder of 2026. The ratings, which emerged last weekend, include Splatoon Raiders and Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave.

Splatoon Raiders, a mysterious spin-off of Nintendo’s popular third-person shooter franchise, has been assigned a PEGI 7 rating, matching the classification of Splatoon 3. The rating was verified through the European eShop. Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, another eagerly anticipated title, also received its PEGI classification, though specific rating details were not disclosed in the initial reporting.

Both games are tentatively scheduled for release during 2026. The PEGI ratings arrive as Nintendo works to fill gaps in its first-party game schedule following the upcoming launches of Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream and Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, which are due out later this week and next month respectively. With Nintendo’s first-party roadmap largely shrouded in mystery, the appearance of these official ratings represents a significant development for fans eager to learn what major releases the company has planned.
