Amazon’s 3 For $33 Deal Makes 4K Blu-Rays A Bargain Again
Amazon is currently running a promotion offering three or more 4K UHD Blu-ray movies for $33 total, bringing the per-title cost down to approximately $11 each. This represents a significant discount compared to the typical retail price of around $20 per 4K film.
The sale covers more than 100 eligible titles, including classic films like Jaws, Blade Runner, Jurassic Park, and E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial, alongside newer releases such as Barbie and Weapons. Each purchase includes the 4K UHD Blu-ray disc along with a standard Blu-ray version and supplementary extras. Many of the films also come with digital streaming codes, though these codes have expiration dates and may not be guaranteed.
The promotion arrives amid growing frustration with streaming services, which have become increasingly expensive while offering less reliable access to content. Physical media collections provide an alternative for viewers seeking ownership of their favorite films without worrying about password management or trying to remember which platform currently hosts a particular title.
For collectors and cinephiles looking to build or expand their home libraries, the deal offers substantial savings on building a quality 4K film collection. However, potential buyers should note that the promotional pricing only applies when purchasing three or more eligible titles simultaneously.
