15 more Disney games delisted from Steam, including the original Star Wars: Dark Forces and 1997’s Outlaws
Disney has removed 15 games from Steam in the second wave of delistings in 2026, bringing the total to 29 games removed this year. The games were delisted on April 14 with no official explanation from Disney.
Affected titles include classic games Star Wars: Dark Forces (1995) and Outlaws (1997), alongside licensed titles such as High School Musical 3: Senior Year Dance, Brave: The Video Game, Bolt, Chicken Little, Tangled, Disney’s Alice in Wonderland, Disney’s Treasure Planet: Battle of Procyon, G-Force, and Disney Universe.
Players who have already purchased these games retain access and can continue playing them. However, new customers cannot purchase the titles through Steam. The delistings follow a similar pattern to January’s removal of 14 Disney games, though Disney has provided no public explanation for either removal.
The delisting of classic titles like Dark Forces and Outlaws may be linked to the recent release of remastered versions. Other removals likely stem from expired licensing agreements. These silent delistings underscore ongoing concerns about game preservation in digital storefronts, as classic games become permanently inaccessible to new players when publishing rights or licenses expire.
