He-Man’s Stunning-Looking Beat ‘Em Up Delayed Just Two Weeks Before Release
Bitmap Bureau’s stylized beat ’em up He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction has been delayed from its April 28th release date to an unspecified summer window. Publisher Limited Run Games announced the postponement just two weeks before launch, stating that while the game is “nearing the end of development,” the team requires additional time to ensure the release will “excite and challenge fans across all generations.” Players will be able to explore Eternia as He-Man, Teela, Man-At-Arms, and She-Ra in the promised “peak arcade glory.”
The delay arrives following Bitmap Bureau’s recent acclaim for Terminator 2D: No Fate, released last year. The UK-based studio’s He-Man project represents an anticipated marriage of side-scrolling beat ’em up gameplay with the classic 1980s IP. Though the short notice surprised the community, the delay appears driven by quality assurance rather than development crises. The two-week warning reflects a final push to polish before release, with no indication of fundamental production issues.
