Pokémon Go ‘Sustainability Week’ 2026 event guide

Pokémon Go’s annual Sustainability Week event has launched for 2026, running through April 20. The event marks the debut of Silicobra, a snake-type Pokémon from the Galar region, along with a special costumed variant of Galarian Corsola sporting pink sunglasses and shiny encounters with Toedscool.

The event provides multiple bonuses for players including boosted spawning rates for featured Pokémon, special egg hatches, and exclusive rewards through the event’s Go Pass system. The main attraction for collectors is the opportunity to add Silicobra to their Pokédex for the first time.

Silicobra can only be obtained through wild encounters rather than eggs or raids. The creature spawns exclusively in desert-like environments and terrain, restricting availability to players in arid regions. This geographical element encourages exploration during the seven-day event window, with players in appropriate biomes having significantly better odds of encountering the new Pokémon.
