Rauora Receives Rework in Rainbow Six Siege Y11S1.2 Patch
Rainbow Six Siege’s Y11S1.2 patch significantly reworks the Rauora operator with substantial buffs designed to improve her zone control and barrier management capabilities. The Deployable Omnilink Mesh (D.O.M.) Panel Launcher’s effective range increases from 15 meters to 25 meters, allowing attacking operators to establish defensive zones across significantly larger areas of the map. All four launcher charges are now available at the start of each round, enabling faster zone setup during early-game phases without waiting for charges to build throughout the match.
The barrier mechanics have been comprehensively rebalanced to encourage greater tactical variety in gameplay. Attacking players can now close panels in just one second, while defenders require six seconds to open or close them. This asymmetry promotes more aggressive attack strategies and faster decision-making, while still giving defenders adequate time to respond and adapt to enemy positioning.
The patch will require approximately 60 minutes of server downtime across all platforms to implement these changes, with the update scheduled for 09:00 EDT/13:00 UTC.
