T1 Player to Miss Rest of Split 1 after Car Accident

T1’s VALORANT academy roster will have to adapt for the remainder of Challengers Korea Split 1 after academy player Kang ‘DH’ Dong-ho sustained injuries in a single-vehicle car accident. The organization confirmed that DH was the only person affected by the incident and that no additional damage occurred.

To fill the gap, T1 has brought in Kim ‘TenTen’ Tae-young as DH’s replacement. TenTen is familiar with T1A’s playstyle, having been part of the academy roster from September 2024 through April 2025, making him a natural fit to step in during this stretch run.

The timing of DH’s absence is particularly significant for T1A, as the team is entering a critical phase of the season. Currently sitting in the Lower Bracket final of VCK Split 1, T1A will face off against Gen.G’s academy roster, with the winner advancing further in the competition. DH’s forced absence means losing an experienced piece from the roster at a crucial moment, though TenTen’s prior experience with the team should help minimize the disruption as they push toward the playoffs.
