Sony Pictures has announced an R-rated animated feature film adaptation of Bloodborne, the acclaimed FromSoftware action RPG exclusive to PlayStation. The project is being produced by PlayStation Productions, Lyrical Animation, and YouTuber Seán McLoughlin, known as JackSepticEye. The film is expected to follow a hunter battling beasts in the gothic city of Yharnam.

JackSepticEye, a prominent gaming content creator with millions of followers, has expressed overwhelming enthusiasm about his producer role. In a video posted following the announcement, he called the opportunity “a dream come true” and described it as the biggest project of his career.
