Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 Delay Addressed by Epic Games

Epic Games has addressed rumors that Fortnite’s Chapter 7 Season 3 update is facing delays. Through the official Fortnite Status social media account, the company categorically stated that Season 3 is not being delayed and emphasized they would be the first to inform the community if any schedule changes occurred.

The speculation began when players noticed the Ranked Quests roadmap had been extended to June 21, 2026, leading many to assume this indicated a postponement of the Chapter 7 Season 3 launch, which was originally anticipated for early June. However, Epic clarified in their statement that they regularly adjust quest end dates during internal development and testing phases, and these changes should not be interpreted as indicators of when content will actually release or become unavailable.

The Fortnite Status team emphasized the importance of waiting for official announcements rather than drawing conclusions from backend changes, stating: “We regularly change end dates for quests internally for development and testing. Please don’t take them as indicators of when content will end or become available, we will tell you if things change.”

This statement underscores Epic Games’ commitment to transparent communication regarding significant schedule changes, reassuring players that any delays to upcoming seasons or major updates would be announced directly and promptly.
