Universal Pictures at CinemaCon 2026: Everything Revealed
Universal Pictures and Focus Features presented their upcoming slate at CinemaCon 2026, showcasing major releases including Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, Steven Spielberg’s Disclosure Day, Minions & Monsters, Shrek 5, Violent Night 2, Focker-In-Law, and Werwulf.
The highlight of the presentation was the unveiling of Universal’s untitled Snoop Dogg biopic, directed by Craig Brewer and starring Jonathan Daviss as Snoop Dogg. Snoop Dogg made an appearance at CinemaCon, performing his classic hit “Drop It Like It’s Hot” alongside Daviss. Despite the high-profile announcement and star appearance, the film currently lacks an official title. The project represents Universal’s continued investment in both major franchise properties and high-profile biographical content. The presentation was not livestreamed, though industry coverage from attendees provides updates on the announcements.
