Dungeons & Dragons Actual Play Show Announced

Wizards of the Coast has announced Dungeon Masters, an official Dungeons & Dragons actual play show that will showcase upcoming D&D content. The series will feature Neil Newbon and Devora Wilde, known to Baldur’s Gate 3 players as voice actors for Astarion and Lae’zel respectively, alongside Jasmine Bhullar from DesiQuest, Mayanna Berrin from Dispatch, and Christian Navarro from 13 Reasons Why.

While Newbon and Wilde won’t be reprising their character roles, they will lead the ensemble cast through new D&D campaigns and material. The show will begin with Ravenloft: The Horrors Within, representing part of D&D’s upcoming content rollout over the coming months. The cast will explore these new additions through tabletop roleplay gameplay.

Dungeon Masters marks another strategic initiative from Wizards of the Coast to promote D&D through entertainment media and content creation. By leveraging recognizable talent from the successful Baldur’s Gate 3 video game adaptation, the company is positioning the show to reach both established D&D players and new audiences interested in the property. The actual play format has grown increasingly popular in recent years, with shows like Critical Role demonstrating the audience appetite for streamed tabletop roleplay content.
