Prepare For The Great Monastery Escape With This Week’s Epic Games Store Freebie
The Epic Games Store maintains a robust weekly free game promotion program that offers players complimentary titles every Thursday at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET. This week’s featured offering is The Great Monastery Escape, available to claim during the standard one-week promotion window.
To participate, players must create a free Epic Games account and enable two-factor authentication. Once claimed, games are permanently added to the player’s library. Each promotion typically lasts seven days before being replaced by the next week’s free offerings.
Epic’s free game initiative has become a substantial program, with the company distributing hundreds of complimentary games to players since its launch. The giveaway strategy covers multiple platforms, with PC games as the primary focus alongside regular weekly offerings for Android devices, extending the free game availability to mobile players.
The program remains active with no announced conclusion date, suggesting Epic Games intends to continue the initiative indefinitely. By removing the barrier to entry for game libraries, the program serves as both a player acquisition tool and a way to drive engagement on the Epic Games Store platform. The combination of no-cost entry, simple claiming process, and consistent new titles has made the program popular among the gaming community.
