New Starfield hotfix takes aim at those PS5 crashes that happened when players were using Enhanced settings

Bethesda has released a hotfix for Starfield on PlayStation 5 to address crashing issues when players use the Enhanced graphics settings. Patch 1.000.003, weighing 1.445GB, specifically targets crashes occurring on PS5 Pro systems with Enhanced settings enabled.

However, the hotfix does not resolve all crashing and freezing issues reported by players. The developer confirmed that additional fixes are in development, with Bethesda targeting next week for the next update to address other instances of crashes and freezes on the platform.

The studio expressed gratitude to players and support team members who reported the issues, noting that their feedback has been instrumental in identifying and addressing these problems. While this hotfix represents a step toward stabilizing the game on Sony’s hardware, players experiencing crashes in other scenarios or when using different graphics settings may still encounter problems until the subsequent patch arrives.
