T1 Threatens Legal Action over Player Harassment and Privacy Violations

T1, one of the world’s premier esports organizations, has threatened to pursue formal legal action against individuals engaging in online harassment and privacy violations targeting its players. The Korean organization released multiple statements on social media warning of legal consequences for such behavior, urging the fanbase to cultivate a respectful community environment.

The action comes in response to numerous documented instances of privacy breaches affecting T1 players, including reports of fans waiting outside team facilities. The organization represents top professional players including Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok and Lee ‘Gumayusi’ Min-hyeong, who are also represented through player agency Fanable.

This legal stance from T1 follows separate legal action initiated by Fanable, the player agency representing several of T1’s roster members. The statements demonstrate escalating efforts to combat the growing problem of player harassment within the esports community, with T1 taking a hardline approach to protect both the privacy and safety of its professional athletes.
