Xbox Is Giving Away Free Gift Cards To Celebrate Spring 2026
Xbox is celebrating Spring 2026 by distributing free gift cards to select users across its platform. The digital rewards are automatically attached to eligible accounts, with amounts varying by region—UK users have received £4 cards while US users are getting $5 credits, labeled as “Spring Gift.”
To claim or verify receipt of a gift card, Xbox users can check their account by turning on their console, pressing the guide button on their controller, navigating to “Parties & Chats,” and opening the “Chats” section to find the notification from Xbox. The gift cards can alternatively be accessed through the Xbox app or website account messages.
While the exact eligibility criteria remain unclear, the promotion appears designed to drive user engagement and encourage spending within the Xbox digital storefront. Recipients can use the credits toward any purchase in the Xbox store, including games, subscriptions, or other digital content. The initiative represents another instance of Xbox providing periodic promotional incentives to maintain community goodwill and engagement during the seasonal period.
