Krauser Joins Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, Big Anniversary Update Teased

SNK’s fighting game Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is set to receive a major first-anniversary update on April 24th, 2026. The full details of this milestone update will be revealed during a YouTube livestream on April 23rd.

While specific details remain unrevealed, the update is expected to include new modes and content given the game’s strong post-launch support history. Balance adjustments to characters and gameplay mechanics are also anticipated, a common feature of well-maintained fighting games.

In addition to the anniversary update, Wolfgang Krauser will launch as a Season 2 DLC character on April 24th. Krauser, titled the “Emperor of Darkness,” is described as a mysterious figure who once ruled the criminal underworld before his defeat. The character will come equipped with dedicated single-player content, including both Arcade and Episodes from South Town storylines, continuing the game’s emphasis on narrative-driven experiences.

This release represents the continued post-launch support for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, which has maintained strong engagement since its initial launch, demonstrating SNK’s commitment to long-term development of the title.
