Adorable Action RPG ‘Kitaria Fables’ Is Getting A Switch 2 Sequel
Twin Hearts has announced Kitaria Fables 2, a sequel to its beloved adorable action RPG. The game was revealed at the Galaxies Spring Showcase and represents an expansion of the original’s charming formula. In collaboration with Secret Level Studio, the sequel is coming to PC and consoles, including Nintendo Switch 2.
The new adventure takes players to the Arkadera wilderness, a forested region in the Kitaria world. Unlike the original, Kitaria Fables 2 features two distinct protagonists: Alice Skylar, a Royal Army Pathfinder, and Dusty Tuftkin, a local guide. Each character offers different gameplay styles and abilities, allowing players to experience the story from varying perspectives.
The game maintains the hybrid farming mechanics and farm rebuilding elements that characterized the original, while expanding on them. Players can enjoy the full experience solo or cooperatively with a friend, supporting both local split-screen and online multiplayer options.
While no release date has been announced, the sequel promises to deliver the same wholesome charm and engaging action-RPG gameplay the original title was known for, enhanced by its expanded scope and cooperative features. The announcement of the Switch 2 port underscores the franchise’s strong position as a platform staple.
