KPop Demon Hunters Cast Reunites for Special Online Performances

The cast of the Netflix anime KPop Demon Hunters is reuniting for special online performances as part of a McDonald’s promotional campaign. The performances, featuring collaborations between the voice actors and musicians from the series, will premiere on April 26 through the McDonald’s mobile app, which viewers must download and use to scan a special Derpy Access Card.

The performance lineup includes EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and REI AMI, who voice the character Huntrix, performing an original song together. Meanwhile, Andrew Choi, samUIL Lee, Kevin Woo, Neckwav, and Danny Chung—the singers behind the Saja Boys—will perform as a real-world group for the first time. The collaboration is part of the McDonald’s Battle Of The Bands initiative, which has previously produced branded content including the Demon Sauce menu item and the Derpy McFlurry.

To access the performances, viewers must purchase limited-edition meal bundles that launched on March 31, featuring items such as the Spicy Saja McMuffin, described as being “inspired by the fire of Gwi-Ma,” and the Huntrix Ramyeon McSh. The partnership blends entertainment, music, and fast-food marketing, bringing together the anime’s cast for exclusive performances unavailable through traditional streaming platforms.
