The Last of Us Adds Sinners Star Li Jun Li to Season 3 Cast
Actress Li Jun Li, known for her role in Sinners, has officially joined HBO’s The Last of Us for Season 3, according to reports from Variety. She will play Miriam, the mother of Seraphite characters Lev and Yara, siblings featured prominently in The Last of Us Part 2 video game.
Miriam represents a new character created specifically for the television adaptation rather than adapted directly from the source material. While Lev and Yara play vital roles in the events of Naughty Dog’s game, details about the scope and significance of Miriam’s character arc in the series remain undisclosed.
The casting announcement coincides with development of Season 3, which is anticipated to be the final season of the HBO adaptation. The show has continued to expand the world of the post-apocalyptic franchise with both established and newly created characters as it progresses toward what appears to be its conclusion.
