LEC Spring Week 4 Preview: Can Vitality Solidify Their Lead?

The League of Legends European Championship Spring Split reaches its midpoint this weekend, with Week 4 serving as a pivotal moment before the playoffs. Teams are competing not only for playoff positioning but also for qualification opportunities to MSI and the Esports World Cup.

The current standings are difficult to assess due to teams having played an uneven number of games throughout the split. Week 4’s matches are expected to help clarify positions as the league progresses into its second half.

This weekend’s competition features matchups between GIANTX and NAVI, as well as G2 and SK on Saturday, April 18. The LEC will also conduct roadtrips to France and Spain, providing a change of venue for the competitive season.

An additional qualification path is available through the LoL Esports World Cup EMEA Qualifier, where LEC teams will compete against LFL representatives Galions and Solary for tournament spots.

With the regular season’s decisive second half underway, Week 4 represents a crucial turning point for teams seeking to solidify their standings and establish momentum heading into the playoffs.
