Underrated MTG Edge of Eternities Commander precon is at its lowest price now
Magic: The Gathering’s Edge of Eternities set has been well-received despite being somewhat overshadowed by the Spider-Man collaboration that immediately followed. The space-themed set is being viewed as a testing ground ahead of 2026’s planned Star Trek set, featuring well-regarded cards across multiple colors.
Two Commander precons were released alongside Edge of Eternities, with Counter Intelligence—a Jeskai (white, blue, and red) focused deck—currently experiencing significant discounting. The precon, which emphasizes counter-proliferation mechanics, is now available on Amazon for under $35, representing approximately 25% off its original $44.99 list price. This sale price matches the deck’s lowest-ever recorded retail price, making it an attractive entry point for Magic players interested in the Commander format or counter-focused strategies.
The price drop highlights Counter Intelligence’s value proposition within Magic’s current precon landscape, potentially drawing renewed interest to an offering that may have been overlooked by players focused on more recent releases.
