Trails In The Sky 2nd Chapter Resolves The Cliffhanger On Switch 1 & 2 This September
Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter, a remake of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC, will release on September 17th, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. The game continues the story of Estelle and Joshua as they navigate the kingdom of Liberl, following the positive reception of the 1st Chapter remake.
On PS5, the game will be available in both digital and physical formats, with a Collector’s Edition available for pre-order. The Japanese version includes a bonus download code for a remastered version of the original Trails in the Sky game, though this offer has not been confirmed for Western releases.
Players who have save data from the 1st Chapter on their respective consoles will unlock special costumes for both Estelle and Joshua based on their appearances from the original Trails in the Sky SC. The game promises an emotional continuation of the beloved JRPG series, bringing another classic entry from the Legend of Heroes franchise to modern platforms.
