Wuthering Waves Gives Away Free Rewards and Resident Evil Collab Items for PS5

Wuthering Waves, the action RPG, is celebrating its second anniversary with a major update launching April 30th. The v3.3 update, titled “Reverbs From the End of Galaxies,” brings substantial new content for players, including story expansions, new characters, and extensive collaboration rewards.

The update advances the game’s main narrative through three new story quests that introduce players to a previously unvisited location called the Dimmr Plains. Alongside the story content, two new playable characters are being added to the roster, continuing the game’s regular character releases.

A significant highlight of the anniversary celebration is an extensive collaboration event featuring licensed motorcycle liveries from major franchises. Players can unlock cosmetics inspired by Capcom properties Resident Evil and Pragmata, as well as popular anime series Kaiju No. 8 and Haikyu. All collaboration items are available for free during the event period, though their availability is strictly limited to the v3.3 update cycle.

The free rewards structure reflects Wuthering Waves’ live-service model, designed to keep players engaged through regular content drops and time-limited events. By offering premium-quality cosmetics without requiring payment, the anniversary update positions itself as particularly generous to the player base while maintaining the game’s broader monetization strategy.
