Guide: These 15+ New PS5, PS4, and PS Plus Games Are Coming Out Next Week (20th-26th April)
A selection of 15 or more new games are launching for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 during the week of April 20-26, continuing the platform’s regular release cadence. This week is notably quieter compared to the hustle and bustle of recent weeks, with fewer major tentpole releases drawing attention.
Among the highlighted releases are Vampire Crawlers, a deck-building pseudo-sequel positioned as a standout title for the week, and Tides of Tomorrow, an experimental multiplayer game designed to appeal to players seeking something different. Also launching on April 20th is Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch, an over-the-top beat ’em up set in the View Askewniverse. The game puts players in the roles of Jay and Silent Bob, battling through diverse enemies including hockey-stick wielding teenage thugs, demons, and hipsters. The title emphasizes creative combo systems and special moves with unique mechanics.
The week represents a less crowded release window, providing existing players time to catch up on recent titles while offering variety across different genres, from strategic deck-building experiences to experimental multiplayer games to classic beat ’em up action.
