Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero DLC Invites 30+ New Characters in Massive Expansion
Bandai Namco is launching a significant expansion for Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero this summer with the “Super Limit-Breaking NEO” DLC pack. The expansion introduces more than 30 new playable characters drawn from across the Dragon Ball franchise, including lesser-seen fighters like Android 8, Chilled, Devilman, and King Piccolo, alongside variations of popular characters such as SSJ Bardock, Trunks (GT), and Uub (End of Z).
The update adds four new battleable stages, including Kami’s Palace, Kame House, and Bitte, providing fresh arenas for matches. Beyond roster and map additions, the expansion features gameplay adjustments to maintain balance with the expanded character roster.
A notable feature is the inclusion of a new RPG-lite progression mode where players can level up their favorite characters through roguelike-style battles, offering a single-player focused experience beyond competitive versus matches. This substantial post-launch support demonstrates Bandai Namco’s commitment to expanding the fighting game’s content library and keeping the player base engaged.
