Cyberpunk Night City 2045 release, price, and preorder unveiled
Preorders have opened for Night City 2045, a comprehensive sourcebook for the Cyberpunk RED tabletop roleplaying game. The 312-page physical edition is priced at $60, with a digital PDF version available immediately for $30. The full release is scheduled for June.
Originally announced at Gen Con 2024, Night City 2045 serves as an extensive guide to the iconic Night City setting. The sourcebook focuses on detailing the people, places, and power structures that define life in the Dark Future metropolis during the “Time of the Red” era, set 32 years before the events of Cyberpunk 2077. Described as a “monster sourcebook,” it aims to provide players and game masters with comprehensive tools and lore for running campaigns in this setting.
The dual pricing and release strategy allows immediate access to the digital version while a physical edition follows in June, reflecting the sourcebook’s significance as a major expansion to the Cyberpunk RED TTRPG library. Night City’s central role in the broader Cyberpunk franchise—appearing in both the tabletop RPG and the 2020 video game—makes this detailed guide a substantial resource for both longtime fans and new players exploring the setting.
