Final Fantasy 14 gets a major update announced in Trail to the Heavens, bringing new story quests, raids, and job
Final Fantasy 14’s latest major update, patch 7.5 titled “Trail to the Heavens,” has been announced, bringing substantial new content to the long-running MMORPG. The update, revealed via a new trailer released over the weekend, includes an extensive roster of additions to keep players engaged.
The patch introduces new Main Scenario Quests continuing the game’s ongoing narrative, along with Allied Society Capstone Quests and further adventures in the beloved Hildibrand questline. A new alliance raid rounds out the endgame content offerings, while a limited-time job provides fresh gameplay mechanics for players seeking a new challenge.
Additional features include fresh Custom Deliveries content from the artisan Tiisol Ja, allowing crafters and gatherers to continue engaging with the game’s economic systems. Duty Support also receives an expansion with support for two dungeons: The Dusk Vigil and Shisui of the Violet Tides, enabling solo players or those with limited party options to experience this content.
With a mix of story progression, challenging raids, new jobs, and quality-of-life improvements, patch 7.5 demonstrates Square Enix’s continued commitment to supporting Final Fantasy 14’s massive playerbase.
