Karrigan Departs FaZe, Joins Falcons; kyxsan Benched
Legendary in-game leader Finn ‘karrigan’ Andersen has officially departed FaZe Clan, ending his highly successful second stint with the organization. The Dane has completed his move to Falcons, where he assumes the in-game leader role following the benching of Damjan ‘kyxsan’ Stoilkovski.
Karrigan rejoined FaZe in 2021 and quickly re-established himself as one of Counter-Strike’s elite leaders. His tenure achieved remarkable success, highlighted by his first and only Major title at PGL Antwerp 2022, a historic victory for the organization. Throughout his second stint, he accumulated nine Tier 1 trophies, with standout wins at IEM Katowice 2022 and IEM Cologne 2022—prestigious tournaments that solidified FaZe’s dominant position in the professional scene that year.
The organization’s success continued into 2023 with FaZe securing the ESL Pro League Season 17 title. However, despite these achievements, the organization has chosen to move forward with new in-game leadership.
Karrigan’s departure represents a significant shift in professional Counter-Strike. His strategic expertise and proven track record make him a valuable addition to Falcons, while his exit from FaZe suggests the organization may be pursuing a new tactical direction. The move also impacts kyxsan, who transitions to the bench after serving as Falcons’ in-game leader, indicating the organization views Karrigan as a strategic upgrade.
