Dead by Daylight is getting another Attack on Titan crossover, as well as a returning fan-favourite game mode
Dead by Daylight is set to receive another Attack on Titan crossover event, featuring both returning cosmetics and a reactivated fan-favorite game mode. The limited-time 2v8 mode, available from April 28 to May 19, doubles the standard player count on both killer and survivor sides, creating a more chaotic and action-packed gameplay experience. With more players per side navigating the maps, matches become increasingly desperate as survivors attempt their escape while killers work to stop them.
The crossover will reintroduce cosmetics from the original 2022 Attack on Titan collaboration, allowing players to acquire these cosmetics again. Additionally, a new legendary costume for The Trapper character is being added, transforming the killer into a towering titan that fits the anime crossover theme. This costume represents a unique cosmetic addition for this iteration of the crossover event.
The return of the 2v8 mode demonstrates developer Behaviour Interactive’s commitment to rotating limited-time experiences to maintain player engagement in the long-running live service title. Such events are key components of Dead by Daylight’s seasonal content strategy, offering players time-limited opportunities to acquire exclusive cosmetics and experience alternative gameplay formats.
