Dragon Ball FighterZ Update 1.50 Now Available For Switch, Here Are The Full Patch Notes

Dragon Ball FighterZ received its Version 1.50 update on April 22, 2026, introducing a new paid DLC character and multiple balance adjustments. The roster expands with Goku (Super Saiyan 4, Daima), adding fresh options to the fighting game’s competitive lineup.

The patch focuses on refining game mechanics and character performance. A notable system-level change involves the Limit Breaking Power mechanic, which previously auto-filled the Ki Gauge when activated against an opponent with zero health. This auto-fill functionality has been removed, altering resource management strategies in certain endgame scenarios.

Goku receives specific adjustments to his Dragon Flash Fist (Light) attack, with modifications to its blockstun properties. These changes are part of Bandai Namco’s ongoing commitment to balance the game’s competitive ecosystem. The update is available on Switch, with balance adjustments aimed at maintaining fairness and competitive integrity while encouraging varied character selection among the player base.
