Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 leaves Xbox Game Pass next week

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be removed from Xbox Game Pass next week, prompting fans to experience the long-running RPG before it departs the subscription service. The announcement comes amid a wave of Dragon Ball-related reveals at Games Battle Hour over the weekend.

Beyond the Game Pass news, several major Dragon Ball projects were showcased, including additional DLC for Dragon Ball Sparkling Zero. A new anime series, Dragon Ball Super: Beerus, was also revealed, with hints suggesting it may adapt storylines from the Resurrection ‘F’ film.

The most significant announcement was the unveiling of Dragon Ball Project Age 1000 as Xenoverse 3, confirming speculation from February leaks. The new entry will mark the third mainline installment in the Xenoverse series, arriving in 2027—more than a decade after the last release. The original Xenoverse launched in February 2015, followed by its sequel in October 2016. Xenoverse 2 has remained actively supported with numerous DLC packs since its release, maintaining a dedicated player base throughout its extended lifecycle.

The Game Pass removal suggests players interested in the franchise should take advantage of the opportunity to play Xenoverse 2 while it remains available on the service.
