Splatoon Raiders gets summer Switch 2 release date, as well as a Deep Cut amiibo to add to your collection

Nintendo has announced a July 23, 2026 release date for Splatoon Raiders, a new single-player-focused spin-off coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch 2. The game will be priced at $49.99 digitally and $59.99 physically in North America, with UK pricing at £41.99 digitally.

In Splatoon Raiders, players assume the role of a mechanic embarking on a high-stakes adventure across the mysterious Spirhalite Islands. The game features the Deep Cut trio—Frye, Shiver, and Big Man—who serve as musicians and companions throughout the adventure. The gameplay retains the ink-based shooter mechanics from the main series but applies them to a single-player campaign focused on treasure hunting and battling Salmonids, creatures familiar from previous Splatoon games’ Salmon Run mode.

The game emphasizes crafting and customization, allowing players to build and upgrade various weapons and gadgets—including turrets and melee weapons—to suit their playstyle as they explore different environments on the island. Despite being marketed as “single-player-focused,” Splatoon Raiders supports up to three additional players joining via online or local wireless multiplayer.

To complement the launch, Nintendo is releasing three new amiibo figures featuring the Deep Cut trio in their Splatoon Raiders outfits. Each amiibo costs $25, totaling $75 for the complete set—significantly exceeding the game’s $50 digital price. The amiibo bases interlock for a unified display.

This represents the first major new Splatoon game since Splatoon 3’s 2022 release, marking a significant addition to Nintendo Switch 2’s expanding exclusive lineup.
