Bubsy 4D Gets A Free Demo, Available Now On Switch 1 & 2
Bubsy 4D, the upcoming platformer from developer Fabraz and publisher Atari, now has a free demo available on Nintendo’s eShop for both Switch and Switch 2 consoles. The demo arrives one month ahead of the game’s full launch.
The demo includes the first three levels of Bubsy 4D and lets players try the platformer’s core mechanics: gliding, rolling, and jumping. The demo is available on both the original Nintendo Switch and the newer Switch 2, allowing players to test how the game performs on each system.
Fabraz, the developer behind acclaimed indie platformers Demon Turf and Demon Tides, is reviving the Bubsy franchise with this new entry. While Bubsy has had a mixed reputation historically, this collaboration with an experienced platformer developer appears aimed at delivering a more polished experience.
The same demo is already available on Steam, so PC players who previously tried it won’t find new content. However, the Switch release provides console players with a way to evaluate the game’s performance on Nintendo hardware before committing to the full purchase.
