Street Fighter 6’s Next DLC Character Joins The Battle In May 2026

Capcom has announced that Ingrid will join Street Fighter 6’s roster as a paid DLC character on May 28, 2026. The character, who originally debuted in Capcom Fighting Evolution (2004/05), brings a distinctive magical girl aesthetic and unique gameplay mechanics to the fighting game.

According to the newly released gameplay trailer, Ingrid features a balletic-style movement pattern similar to fellow newcomer Manon, allowing her to gracefully dance across the stage to evade attacks. Her offensive toolkit includes powerful projectile attacks and teleportation abilities that allow her to close distance and pressure opponents. One of her signature moves involves summoning magical orbs that bounce around the screen and fire laser beams, creating dynamic offensive opportunities.

Ingrid’s defensive tools are particularly noteworthy, as she has multiple options for dealing with projectiles—making her a strong matchup choice against shoto-style characters who traditionally rely on fireball spam. Players can obtain Ingrid by purchasing her individually using Fighter Coins or by owning the Year 3 Character Pass or Ultimate Pass, which grants immediate access upon release.
