Sonic X Godzilla Is The Wildest Crossover Yet - Here’s Your First Look
Sonic the Hedgehog is heading to the comic page in an unexpected crossover with Godzilla. A new five-issue mini-series titled Sonic the Hedgehog X Godzilla brings together Sega’s iconic speedster and the King of the Monsters, with GameSpot exclusively revealing the first look at this unique collaboration.
The series will see Sonic face off against Godzilla across its five issues, with Shadow the Hedgehog—the “ultimate lifeform”—joining the action starting in the second issue. This crossover continues Godzilla’s long tradition of appearing in major collaborations with other franchises and pop culture icons, following previous team-ups ranging from Charles Barkley to DC Comics’ Justice League.
The first issue will be available for preorder at comic book stores for $5. While Godzilla has a well-established history of crossovers spanning multiple mediums and partnerships, this marks a particularly notable collision between the worlds of video game franchises and classic monster cinema.
